Affirmative Action, confirming bias?
In deciding wether or not to allow an applicant into a college there is a broad scope of aspects to review. Has the student done well in their previous course of study? What is their life experience? A thoughtful opinion Emma but would have been far more effective if you had used specifics and details from the materials of the unit to support and develop your ideas in a much more thorough manner.
ReplyDeleteYour blog overall is interesting, especially your most recent posts. However, you need to be sure that you do all of the required posts in addition to the provocative pieces that you wrote about in March. Don't know what happened to the others from February. Work to be more consistent with your updates. Also, at times, your posts or topics are so interesting that I want to read more. The one on India is a prime example. You raised a provocative question but then leave it to the reader to sort out. How about linking us to more information? What about posing a solution or something we can do in response? Work to do more here. Your ideas deserve it.
